A rim sherd from a ceramic vessel, possibly of Iron Age date. The profile indicates that this is probably a steep-sided jar or cooking pot, the everted rim angling upwards and having an upward curve at the end. The vessel is roughly finished, probably handmade and has soot patches on the outside. The fabric is pinkish-yellow and finely tempered, with a smooth surface. The edges are abraded. Dimensions: 47.6mm long, 33.5mm wide. Weight: 25.26g.
