A corroded cast copper-alloy post-medieval mount in the form of a Tudor rose. The moulded rose on the upper face in has three layers of five petals around a central pellet. The circumference of the mount has been abraded. Central on the lower surface is a square-sectioned shank, possibly with an abraded tip. The metal has a dark-green colour with patches of off-white corrosion product. A similar mount can be found on this database, ref. HAMP-C018B4. A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame (c. AD 1570-c. 1700). The frame trapezoidal in plan and each loop is of similar size and shape, It is convex at the front and flat at the rear. There is slight bevelling on the inner sides of the loops at the front. The pin bar is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. There is a knoped protrusion at each end of the pin bar. Each loop is angled upwards from the bar at an angle of about 5°. A post-Medieval cast lead-alloy knob in the form of a human male head (c. AD 1700-c. 1800). This knob is probably from the lid of a tobacco holder. The head appears to be tonsured and is tilted backwards slightly, as if looking upwards. The facial features are clear and prominent. The brow is heavy and large and the eyes are almond-shaped. A broken and distorted, now incomplete gilded copper-alloy signet ring of late medieval to early post-medieval date. It has been broken historically below one of the shoulders, most of the surviving hoop has been bent and twisted outwards. The hoop expands in width to a thickened, flattened bezel. An incomplete knapped lithic arrowhead of Bronze Age date. The object is triangular in plan with two notches in the base between the central tang and a barb to either side. The surface has been invasively retouched. The tip of one barb has been lost. The flint is a mid brownish-black colour. This arrowhead is of Green's 'Sutton type C' and dates to circa 2000 - 1500 BC.

An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. AD 1350-c. 1650). The pin is missing. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is oval in plan and similar in size. Each loop is bevelled internally at the front. The narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section. This frame has a shiny mid-green patina overall. Several file marks are present. 30.81 x 27.03 x 2.56mm. Weight: 6.68g. Similar buckles have been published and dated c. 1350-1650 (Whitehead 1996: 53).

A copper alloy Medieval seal matrix dating from 1200 - 1400. The matrix is a pointed oval (vessica) shape. The iconography of the central motif is difficult to decipher. To one side a large figure in profile holds up a ?staff that reaches to the top of the border. A nummus of the House of Constantine, originally GLORIA EXERCITVS (1 standard) reverse of 335-341, restruck as a 'Fallen Horseman' contemporary copy of 354-364. The obverse of the GLORIA EXERCITVS issue bears the restruct Fallen Horseman reverse, oriented at 4 o'clock relative to the original imperial bust. Two complete beehive quern stones tops of Roman date. The stones are domed with a fluted upper surface and central perforations. Both stones appear to have side perforations though these are extremely worn on one. Unmalted grain would have been poured into the vertical central perforation while the stone was turned by a handle projecting from the side perforations. The upper stone was held in place over the lower stone by a bridge or rynd of wood or metal - frequently iron - which is likely to account for the iron plug in one of these examples. This artefact is formed from a complete sub-rectangular handle, which is hexagonal in section, that expands to the circular die. A corroded and incomplete cast copper-alloy probable strap union (harness fitting) of Late Iron Age/Romano-British date. It consists of a bar of sub-rectangular cross-section, broken at one end. At the other end is a terminal formed of a pair of conjoined bosses from the tops of which extend rounded tabs between which is a bar of circular cross-section.
