A fragment of a Medieval (1200-1500) copper alloy chaffing dish. This fragment is from the vessel rim, is dark grey and has been burnished on both sides. The fragment is decorated at the rim by a thin, incised, circumferential line on both sides, whilst the outside also has a circumferential bead with thin groves either side, 9.5 mm below the rim. The fragment flares outwards towards the rim. The fragment is 2.0mm thick at the rim, but only 1.0mm thick at the bottom of the break. This fragment is 21.2mm high by19.8mm wide. A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1500-c. 1650 AD). The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is oval in plan, similar in size and the fronts of the loops are bevelled on the inside. The central bar is triangular in cross-section and flat at the rear. It has a small projecting knop at each end. The tapering copper-alloy pin is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. It has a length of 21.52m and the width of the loop is 3.48mm. A complete post-Medieval to Modern cast lead or lead alloy circular double-sided token (c. 1500-c. 1850 AD). The token has raised initial letters on both faces: T C on one side with a pelleted border and H A on the other side with a pelleted border. Both sides also have pellets in the fields. Diameter: 21.02mm. Weight: 7.26g. DA=12:12. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to date c. 1500-1850 AD.

A complete silver halfpenny of Henry VIII (1509-1547 AD). It is doublestruck, but very poorly, having both moved and rotated between strikes, so the inscription doesn't necessarily follow as it should. The inscription reads, obverse: h [ ] SIE x[ ]INA (the 'x' seems to be combined with an S from the other strike, and the following three letters are pretty much illegible. The reverse reads: TO[R]/(misplaced pellet from centre of coin on other strike) AS/x[C]A[N]/[ ].
