A Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch of Langton Down type, cAD25-60. The brooch has a hinged pin retained within a cylindrical housing and attached to a short iron bar. Along the centre of the spine are three notched ridges which extend almost to the top of the catchplate. The foot is out-turned and D-shaped. The pin is missing.

A Roman cast copper alloy circular plate brooch. The brooch has a diameter of c22.26mm although the extreme edges are mostly missing. The centre of the disc is slightly hollowed and the rounded rim is slightly raised. In the centre is a circular patch which may be the stub of a separate fitting; there is a corresponding circle on the back. The brooch has been cast in a high tin content alloy and has a white metal coating, probably tin. The intact pin is in a different alloy.

A cast copper alloy brooch of Middle Iron Age Type 2L c.300-150 BC. The brooch has a fat rounded body, hollowed on the back. At the upper end is an integral transverse circular-section bar (half of which is missing, and originally c20mm in length) which is partly decorated with encircling grooves. The head of the brooch is decorated with similar grooves arranged in a chevron formation. An incomplete copper alloy and enamel Roman plate brooch of the equal-ended type with a hinge mechanism, missing the pin (and most of the enamel). It measures 37.67x24.42x10.54mm and weighs 4.43g. At the centre of the bow is a 15.74x14.81mm square or rectangular plate 2.06mm thick, grooves outlining one square inside another around a central sunken area c.8x9mm. An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy T-shaped brooch (Colchester derivative) with hinge mechanism, missing the lower bow and catchplate and the pin. The brooch measures 20.90mm (the surviving bow being bent to one side) and weighs 7.45g. The tubular wings span 26.51mm. A fragment of a late Iron Age to Early Roman, cast copper alloy brooch of the Birdlip type, dating from 50BC-50AD. Only the central part of the brooch remains, the top of the bow, the pin and the foot are missing and only a small part of the catchplate survives. The remaining portion of the upper part of the bow is triangular in section. Just below the break at the top is a semicircular collar, divided into two by a transverse groove. A cast copper alloy annular brooch of Medieval date. The brooch frame is hexagonal and has six forward projecting conical collets. The frame is shaped to the collets. The collets are equally spaced and integral. The settings are empty but still contain a white paste (possibly calcium carbonate) which would have held a stone in place. A pin constriction survives between two of the collets but the pin is missing. The metal is a mid greenish-grey colour, suggesting a white metal coating.
