An incomplete copper alloy Late Iron Age/ Early Roman La Tène III (AD 20-100) simple one-piece or Nauheim derivative type brooch. It is missing the lower bow and catchplate, and the pin is bent to one side. The brooch measures 43.26mm in length and weighs 4.23g. The head consists of four spring coils 11.22mm wide with a copper alloy axis bar between (11.71mm wide). The third coil from the left extends into the pin, which narrows to a point. An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy Colchester Derivative T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism, missing the pin shank and the lower bow and catchplate. The brooch measures 32.96mm in incomplete length and weighs 6.47g. The tubular wingspan is 18.14mm. To the reverse is a slot with the pin head intact, to the front is a transverse moulding flanking either end. The top of the wings are flat. An incomplete Roman (AD 280-410) gilded and tinned/ silvered copper alloy early form of crossbow brooch or Light Crossbow brooch, measuring 41.88mm in length and weighing 3.74g. It is missing most of the pin shaft and most of one wing half. The wingspan is 14.36mm, and would originally have been c.20mm. A Medieval (probably 1200-1400) lead uniface trade weight, square in shape, and depicting a probable pelican displayed in her piety within a raised roundel 33mm in diameter and c.4mm high. The pelican's wings rise to either side of the central body and the head above is turned right with open beak. It is apparently standing over a nest containing chicks. The weight measures 38.89x36.63x9.88mm and weighs 110.31g (3.9oz). This is a medieval weight for a quarter pound. There are several systems to which the weight could belong.
