A group of 65 miscellaneous tools and utilised flint and chert flakes of many kinds from a 2 hectare field amongst a total of 850 worked flint fragments including waste and utilised pieces and tools. The flints have individual GPS records to a few metres accuracy which form a cluster extending beyond but centred in the field close to a brook at the edge of its flat alluvial plain and slightly above. A struck flint leaf shaped arrowhead of probable Neolithic date. It is unpatinated, struck from a grey/brown flint and leaf-shaped in form, tapering to a sharp point at the tip and with a slightly elongated proximal end. The edges have neat retouch, with flake scars on the dorsal face as well as the tip end of the ventral face. It measures 30.77mm in length, 14.54mm in width, 3.99mm in thickness and 1.44g in weight. It is of probable Neolithic date, c.3,500-2,100 BC.
