Flint thumbnail scraper of later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (2300 -1800BC). The scraper is formed from a mottled brown coloured piece of flint most probably selected from the waste / debitage from the secondary phase of tool making . The ventral face shows some conchoidal ripples but striking platform etc. has been removed by snapping. The dorsal face has multiple and layered series of flake facets. An enamelled copper-alloy mount, possibly from a hanging bowl. The mount is shovel-shaped, flat and decorated on one side only. The body contains a vertical row of four sub-rectangular frames of reserve metal, with an unclear wavey line at the base. To either side is a line with a triangular terminal. The recessed areas contain degraded enamel, now pale yellow-brown in colour but with traces of red. The reverse is undecorated and has traces of a shiney backing, perhaps an indication that it was soldered to a metal object such as a vessel.

Cast copper alloy scales/balance arm length 48mm, width 3mm, thickness 7.5mm, weight 4.25g. This is a bar which is wider in the middle and tapers towards each end. There is a pierced tab in the middle for suspension, with a loop at either end. Copper alloy sheet tweezers length 57mm, width 8mm, thickness 9mm weight 5.07g. Sheet metal that has been bent double. The fold has been bent into an penannular loop, from this point the gap between each blade gently widens to the tips, which have bent inwards to meet and form the pincer. An incised groove runs parallel to each edge. A very similar artefact was found in excavations in Colchester (see N. Crummy; 1983; pp. 59; no. 1883). .

A square sheet of lead with decoration that resembles the 'wreath crossed by a line' seen on the obverse of late Iron Age gold 'Ferriby' staters. The sheet is roughly square and has two rows of oval pellets running across the centre, with what appear to be two lines crossing it with possible crescentric terminals. The other side has a kidney-shape motif formed by concentric lines, but this is probably the result of the way the lead has solidified rather than being decoration. This object is possibly a failed casting of a lead core for a plated stater.

A fossil sponge known as Poroshpaera, which are known to have been used in the early Bronze Age as stone beads. Kenneth Oakley's paper, published in an early volume of Antiquity, titled 'The Folklore of Fossils' discusses their use. Identified by Kevin Leahy and confirmed by Mr Paul Ensom, formally of the Natural History Museum. The spherical fossil measures: weight is 2.43g, height (where perforation is vertical) 12.54mm, diameter is 13.51mm and the circular perforation has a diameter of 3.92mm.
