A post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (1500-1700 AD). This mount is slightly convex at the front and largely flat at the rear. It has a fleur-de-lis at the top of a tapering neck, below which are two arms curving out and upwards, one at each side. The ends of these almost make contact with the outer petals of the fleur-de-lis. Below the arms the mount widens and has two raised parallel ridges and then an oval section which terminates with a small projecting lobed terminal with one raised ridge. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy barrel padlock (c. 1250-c. 1450 AD). The barrel or chamber is a hollow cylinder which is roughly oval in cross-section and each side has a single groove running horizontally along the length of the chamber on the outside. There is a rectangular aperture on the underside of the chamber. Along the top edge of the chamber two flat arms extend upwards, one from each end. A small cast copper-alloy single-looped buckle frame of medieval date (c. 14th century AD). The frame is oval with a lipped protrusion at its outer edge which would have acted as a pin rest. The pin bar is offset and narrowed; the pin is missing. Both surfaces of the frame are flat. The pin bar and lower surface are covered in file marks. The artefact now has a dark-grey patina with patches of off-white corrosion product. For this type see Griffiths et al. (2007, 88) where they are dated to the late 14th century.
