A copper-alloy strap loop of Medieval date. The frame is roughly rectangular in plan, with a slight increase in width, towards the vertical outer side. This side is wider than the other three and also has a vertical ridge extending down its centre, flanked by zig-zag grooves. The other sides are of rectangular section, the shorter vertical one also pierced by a central rivet hole containing part of the copper-alloy rivet.
