A copper-alloy bracelet of probable Late Roman date.
The artefact is complete but slightly distorted, probably as a result of post-depositional damage. The bracelet is of penannular form and of simple construction, having been made from a single length of square-sectioned wire which has been twisted into a 'cable' form. This decoration does not extend to the terminals, where the ends of the wire taper into two overlapping points.
Dimensions: 84.1mm wide, 71.1mm deep (terminals to back), 2.8mm thick. Weight: 10.29g.
