An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin of Roman date. Only the head survives intact, the shaft now missing due to old breaks. The head is cylindrical in form, cast in a two piece mould with casting seams still visible on opposing sides, perhaps indicating the object was never completely finished off. It has cordoned decoration consisting of a flattened circular terminal knop, beneath which are three small transverse cordons. Incomplete triangular sheet mount or appliqué from a stave-built bucket. One end (the upper) is straight. Vertical break at possible mid point, the other broken edge oblique and following weak point along repoussé decoration comprising lines of stamped rectangles forming a possible eye within bordering lines. Height >33mm. Width >24mm. Compare the triangular appliqués with anthropomorphic decoration from Fetcham (ford), Surrey and Howletts, Kent (Cook (2004), Figs. 16 a and 17 e). Dates to the late 5th-early 6th century.

A silver hammered cut-half voided long cross penny possibly of Henry III, 1216-1272 (with this coin minted between 1247-1272 if the monarch is correctly identified). The obverse would have shown a forward facing crowned head but all that is now visible is a faint hint of the two curls of hair to the right of the flan. Obverse legend reads [...]IC[...] with the letter I above the top curl of hair positioned at about 2 o'clock. The reverse shows a voided long cross with three pellets per quarter. Reverse legend seems to read [N]IC/[.../.../...] and is likely to have read NIC/OLE/ON?/…

An Early Medieval copper alloy florid cruciform brooch fragment. It is part of a side knob, and consists of a curved terminal, with an asymetric shape. With the terminal pointing downward, the upper part is rectangular, and has relief decoration in the form of a face mask, showing a pair of flaring eyebrows with pellet eyes beneath, a triangular nose in the centre, and two more pellets in a row below the nose. An incomplete cast copper alloy probable annular brooch of medieval date. Only a small fragment of the circular brooch now survives, the rest being lost to old breaks. The frame is circular in cross-section with four bulbous circular expansions present spaced evenly along it. There is no further decoration present. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The remains of the brooch are 36.8mm long, 4.9mm in diameter and weigh 3.1g.

A Post-Medieval (1500-1800) lead weight in the form of a heart with iron corrosion in the slot. It measures 26.20x22.51x5.89mm and weighs 20.4g. To one face is raised decoration in the form of ribs, an inverted V with a horizontal above and a larger V underneath. A similar find to this is PUBLIC-FE4E74 on this database. It is assumed the date is Post-Medieval based on style. Another similar find, NARC-2E1212, is identified as an unusual weight or even possible large love token.
