A complete cast copper-alloy medieval seal matrix of pointed oval form (c. 14th century AD). It features a semicircular loop at the upper end of the reverse,a nd a pronounced casting seam. The die features a Lamb of God standing left in intaglio (facing right on the seal) with a rearward facing head. The lamb is within a border formed of small punches. The lamb is looking at a staff. A complete cast copper alloy apothecaries weight of post-medieval date. The weight is square in plan and rectangular in section and is stamped on one side with the traditional symbol for the denomination 2 drachms.
The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is worn. The weight is 15.8mm x 14.8mm x 4.5mm and weighs 6.8g.
Similar apothecaries weights can be seen in Biggs, p.9 and date to the 17th century.

A complete cast copper alloy cup weight of medieval to post-medieval date. The weight is circular in plan with a slight raised rim. A small central indentation is present around which is a circular border. There are two worn impressions resembling flowers on this side however they are to worn to be certain of their type. The reverse is flat and undecorated except for a small bead of lead in the centre.
The metal has a mid blackish-green patina and is worn. The weight is 28.8mm in diameter, 6.5mm thick and weighs 26.1g.
This is most probably a single example from a nested set.

Possibly complete, probably late Roman, cast, copper alloy, unidentified object. The object is flat, curled or serpentine shaped with a loop terminal for attachment or to pivot around. It looks as though it could possibly be a broken military hamata fastener, an incomplete fragment once of the serpentine form. This could have served as a fastener for the shoulder section of chain mail with a pair of ornate fasteners attached to the chest. A fragment of a cast copper alloy cooking vessel. The fragment is sub semi-circular in plan, with an elongated drop-shaped hole in the centre. This hole (8.1mm x 9.1mm) is where the handle or chain would be suspended from and the upper edge is worn. The lower edge of the object is broken and also slightly off-set. The break in the lower edge is ancient being patinated. The lower edge is slightly stepped and looks turned, the thickness of a slight projection plate is 1.4mm. Tin mount. Pressed metal concavo-convex mount in the form of a five-lobed leaf with the ribs of the leaf represented; a circular loop of internal diameter 1.1mm at the stem end may have served for riveted attachment. One tip of the leaf is lost. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1400-1450.

Copper alloy brooch fragment. Part of the cast head and curved bow of a small long brooch retaining the stub of a catch plate on the back; this projects circa 2.5mm. The line of the bow is continued up the head plate by paired rows of circular stamps of diameter 1.3mm. Abraded, with all edges broken. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 500-600.

A probable Medieval lead alloy token dating from the 13th to 15th century AD. The token is bifacial and appears to depict a bird on either face in quite good detail. The token as a distinctive silvery appearance which suggest pewter, a material used for tokens mainly in the medieval period, and possibly related to the church in some way (See Fletcher 2005:22). The bird appears to have it's head down feeding. The reverse of the token is not visible as the token has been folded in half.

A complete 'snapped' flint blade of probable Mesolithic date (6500BC - 3500BC). The flint blade is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and triangular (crested) in cross section. The bulb of percussion and lower half of the blade have both been removed through snapping. The dorsal face shows three ridges (crests) where previous blades have been removed fro a core. A complete, Medieval-Tudor, forged/wrought, rusty iron Guildhall probable draught horseshoe. The shoe is a fair size, relatively broad with a rounded outer edge and arched inner edge. The point of the arch disappears by the early C16th. The shoe has fairly long branches with the heels inclined together. Calkins are present although on is turned down a little more than the other.
