A complete Early-Mid Roman, struck or hammered, copper alloy - bronze, sestertius of unknown Emperor. Obverse: Extreme corrosion - no details. Inscription: Illegible. Reverse: Extreme corrosion - no details. Inscription: Illegible. The coin has extreme wear and is in poor condition. It is very corroded with a matt, slightly irregular eroded pale green surface. Roughly half the coin has a raised, matt, pale brown area, this is probably due to being found in water logged ground conditions. This coin is likely to date to 43-250AD. Ref.
