An incomplete cast lead alloy harness mount dating from about the late Post-Medieval to early Modern periods (1750-1900). The mount is a circular disc of lead alloy which is probably part of a Post-Medieval bridle boss. The edges have broken and crumbled; the body has been slightly bent out of shape. The front is decorated with a raised (probably applied) central scrollwork motif (possibly the letter S). The reverse has wear marks and the remnants of two spikes are present. The mount has a creamy brown and grey patina. A likely parallel for this object may be seen at PAS record ID: SWYOR-E6DFE5.
Thickness: 6.5mm; Diameter: 46.7mm; Weight: 43.05g

Cast lead or lead alloy weight of probable later Medieval or Post Medieval date (1350 - 1650). The weight is broadly circular in plan and rectangular in cross section. The edges around the front face are faceted; one side is damaged due to an old and heavily abraded break. The design on the front consists of a concentric pattern with an irregular star formed from a vertical and saltire cross placed at the centre. This is enclosed by a single raised ring which in turn is enclosed by a further ring with a series of irregular triangles on its inner edge (forming a tooth like pattern). The reverse is plain and relatively flat; there is a small area of iron staining where the artefact has lain against an iron object in the soil. The weight is a mid grey brown colour with an even slightly abraded patina that covers all surfaces. A direct parallel for this weight has not been found. An alternative suggestion to function is that it may have been used as a form of stamp / die, although how this may have worked is unclear.
The weight measures 42.2mm in diameter and is 6.2mm thick. It weighs 64.18 grams or 2.26ozs (990.2 grains).

A lead alloy uniface token of probably Medieval or Post Medieval date. The design is a geometric pattern (Powell type 9) of lines formed of conjoined solid triangles. There are two lines across the base, with three lines radiating from the centre of the upper line. There are also initials (Powell type 2): a letter S on the left and a B with a gap between the two loops on the right. The letters are untidy. Compare to SWYOR-54B783 which may be a crude copy of this token. It was found in the same field.

A large and crude lead alloy uniface token of probably Medieval or Post Medieval date. The design is a geometric pattern (Powell type 9) of lines. There is one line across the base which is formed of conjoined solid triangles, with three lines radiating from the centre. This design may be based on the better made token recorded as SWYOR-549FC3 which is from the same field. The edges of the token are rounded untidy.
