An incomplete cast lead alloy harness mount dating from about the late Post-Medieval to early Modern periods (1750-1900). The mount is a circular disc of lead alloy which is probably part of a Post-Medieval bridle boss. The edges have broken and crumbled; the body has been slightly bent out of shape. The front is decorated with a raised (probably applied) central scrollwork motif (possibly the letter S). The reverse has wear marks and the remnants of two spikes are present.
