A copper-alloy penannular bracelet of Roman date. The bracelet has been broken in recent times and appears also to have been stretched outwards; however, it is otherwise complete. It is of oval section, the widest and thickest points being the two opposing terminals, from where it gradually tapers towards the back. Adjacent to the vertical inner face of each terminal, there is a band formed by one broad groove and one shallower groove. A copper-alloy fragment of what may be a Roman bracelet. The fragment is part of a band of copper-alloy, slightly curved. There is an irregular groove running down the centre of the inside although it does not reach to the ends of the strip. There is a slight lip on part of the outside of the fragment. The piece measures 45.7 mm long, 4.04 mm wide, 1.65 mm thick and weighs 1.4 grams. It has a dark green patina.
