A cast copper alloy Roman knee brooch dating from 150 - 250 AD. The brooch has a convex bow, wide at the top and tapering to the foot which is a half round disc which juts forwards. Part of the catchplate survives behind. The head is tubular wings holding a copper alloy axis bar and with a slot for the missing pin. Above is an integral head loop. The reverse of the bow is hollow. Compare 1242 and 478 on page 335 of Hattatt.

A copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating from 75 - 175 AD. The trumpet head is decorated with enamel. A vertical line divides the head in half and there is a arch shaped cell of blue enamel on each side. There is a pair of yellow triangles above and a pair below. The remaining area have faded red enamel. There is a triple collar either side of the acanthus button which only decorates the front of the bow.
