A double looped buckle manufactured from cast copper-alloy and dating from the early post-medieval period. The buckle has a vesica shaped frame with a protrusion at either end of the narrowed strap bar. Similar buckle are described by Ross Whitehead and are dated to 1550-1650 (p.61).
The buckle is in fair condition, with a dark surface patination.

The outer edge of a large, rectangular buckle manufactured from cast copper-alloy. The frame has incised linear decoration and a notch for housing a pin.
This example is of post-medieval origin, with buckles of this type appearing throughout the post-medieval period (Whitehead, 2003).

A silver threepence of Elizabeth I. On the obverse is a bust left with a rose behind the head and the legend: ELIZABETH.D.G.ANG.[---]. On the reverse is a square shield with long cross fourchee and the date above the shield (though this is too worn to read) and the legend: [---] DE[-] AD[---] M[--].
The coin has an obverse initial mark of a plain cross, indicating a date of 1578-80. It belongs to Elizabeth's second issue coinage and corresponds to North No. 1998.
