A rim fragment of Medieval/ Post-Medieval (1200-1800) copper alloy cooking vessel. The rim thickens slightly towards the tip. It expands slightly on the inner face and is flat on the outer face. The fragment measures 36.0mm in length, 47.3mm in width, 3.4mm thick and weighs 21.7 grams. Crudely made cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from c.1200-1800 for serving and cooking. Butler and Green (2003; 15) state 'there is evidence that (cast copper alloy) metal cooking vessels became increasingly common during the 13th and 14th centuries'. The nose is an elongated triangle and appears to be worn. The cheek bones are defined. The mouth is formed of a straight line, which is slightly depressed. An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy annular brooch pin, probably from the 14th century. It has an incomplete loop that tapers towards the end, where there is an old break. Outside and below the loop is a rectangular moulded collar. The shaft tapers slightly towards the end; on the underside of the tip, there is a small worn area that may be the notch. The pin is subrectangular in plan. It has a dark green patina. The pin is 46.45mm in length, 7.15mm in width, 4.75mm thick and weighs 4.1grams. A similar brooch pin can be seen on the database SUSS-1E8091 and KENT-7A8BC3.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy attachment loop from a drop handle of Medieval date. The upper half of the loop is missing due to old breaks. It was probaly oval shaped in form with an oval shaped aperture, is oval shaped in section with a transverse collar at the base. Beneath the collar is an integrally cast cylindrical rivet with flattened round head. The surfaces of the loops have extensive tool marks. An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval buckle frame dating from about 1100 - 1300. The lipped single oval frame is a D-shaped in plan but the bar is not narrowed nor offset. There is a pin notch on the lip of the frame and a ridge on the bar where the pin would have been attached. It and the plate are now missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy thimble of medieval date. The thimble has a worn circular base from which the sides taper and curve inwards towards the top. The crown of the thimble has been lost to old breaks and there is a crack extending the full length of the object. A second crack is also present, adjacent to the first, covering roughly half the length. Drilled pits of slightly different sizes decorate the thimble in an irregular pattern across its surface. An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy bar mount. It has a central lobe, with a hole, and two tapering bars of which only one survives. It has a terminal lobe which is pierced by a copper alloy rivet. The mount is mostly semi-circular in section, with a flat back; but the bars is faceted making it triangular in section. It is decorated with a raised ridge across each end of the bar. It dates from 1150-1350. See also PAS record IDs SWYOR-B04BD3, BERK-8CFC90 and KENT-D00533 for similar bar mounts. A Medieval to Modern cast lead circular double-sided token (c. 1250-c. 1850 AD). The token has a raised design on each side. One side has a stylised fleur-de-lis and the other side is largely illegible (probably not letters). Diameter: 22.97mm. Weight: 5.85g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally. They are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval to Modern in date (c. 1250-1850 AD).

At the centre of the rowel is a circular aperture. The entire object measures 26.63mm in external diameter, 3.65mm in thickness, and weighs 4.96g. It is of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.13th-17th cenuries AD.

Medieval cast copper alloy shield shaped seal matrix with integrally cast suspension loop on the reverse. The matrix depicts an eagle with spread wings. There is a pelleted line with the inscription 'PRIVE' above and 'S V' with the latter two letters located over the wings. PRIVE SV means 'private seal'. The seal matrix is 18.44mm long, 14.68mm wide, 2.53mm thick, increasing to 6.95mm to include the suspension loop. It weighs 3.6 grams.
