A copper alloy 17th Century dress hook in one piece with engraved and punched decoration. The outer decoration shows a border of pellets and annulets with stamped cross hatching enclosing a floral emblem in the centre. The back is plain. Very dark green patina with the remains of soil within the design. Similar to Read, 2008, p171, no 642. Early Post medieval Class A, Type 2.

A copper-alloy casket key of Medieval date. The bow is lozenge shaped with a prominent raised collar adjacent to it. The stem is of sub-circular cross section. The bit, set at the base of the stem, is flat with a cleft at the front edge. The key measures 36mm long, 8.5mm wide at the bow end and is 5.1m thick on its stem. The weight is 2.8g.

A fragment of a Medieval cast copper alloy Spur, circa AD1400-AD1700. The fragment comprises the end of the Spur arm and its double eyed terminal. One side of the arm is bevelled and the edges of the terminal are rounded over. and the reverse side is flat resulting in a 'D' shaped cross-section. This artefact expands in width between the end of the arm and figure-of-eight terminal in the form of a moulded collar. There is no decoration on either surface. It measures 44.0mm in length, is 18.9mm wide, has a thickness of 3.1mm and weighs 5.9g. Existing metal in good condition.

A complete Medieval to Post-Medieval cast lead unifaced weight, circa AD1200 - AD1800. Originally circular, the weight has been squashed from two sides leaving it almost oval to kidney-shaped. Traces of its original surface design are legible - a solid cross, the arms extending to the edge of the artefact, with a single pellet (diameter c.4.7mm) in each angle, and a small dome-shaped pellet in its centre (diameter c.8.8mm). An incomplete late medieval or early post-medieval copper alloy book clasp. It consists of a strip of copper alloy sheet, with a rectangular hook 9.7mm in width at one end. 19.5mm from the hook, and central to the sheet, is a separate circular-section copper-alloy rivet, now corroded to a red colour. The rivet is 2.6mm in diameter. At the centre of the book clasp is a perforation, surrounded by two concentric grooves. Radiating from the rings is a cross design, each arm of the cross made up of a set of five incised lines. The other end is flared, but damage here makes it impossible…

An incomplete late medieval or early post-medieval hook-piece from a book clasp consisting of a single rectangular front plate, cracked across its width. One end narrows slightly and then expands a little to an edge decorated with four V-shaped cut-outs. At the other end, a small rectangular hook projects from the centre. There is a surface design of concentric rings at the mid point, and at the expanded end. The latter is off centre, and has the remains of an iron rivet.
