An incomplete cast copper-alloy trumpet brooch of early Roman date, c. 75-200. The brooch is very worn, missing the foot and spring pin. The head is intact, complete with the loop for holding the spring pin in place on the reverse. The bow is decorated with moulded collars in half-round.

A post-Medieval cast copper-alloy end-cap from a scale-tang knife in the form of a horse hoof (c. 1500-c. 1600 AD). The object is sub-oval in cross-section throughout its length and curved in side profile. The terminal (foot) is flat and corroded. If the foot had features representing a frog and nails they may have been obliterated due to corrosion. At the opposite end a slot is filled with corroded iron, all that remains of the tang. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy hooked tag (c. 1500-c. 1600 AD). The recurving hook of this tag is missing. It has a rectangular attachment loop, a triangular body with moulded swags along the tapering sides. The upper surface is a moulded heart in low relief with a central trefoil pointing inwards at its top. A small lobe above the centre of the heart projects slightly into the loop. Description by Nicholas Thomas: This is a utalized blade flake. The dorsal face has flake scars along both margins. Both edges have been used and there is possibly some gloss on the straight edges. The ventral face has scars along both edges and a small bulbal scar. The proximal end is snapped. The flint is grey in colour. It is probably derived from a local beach pebble but this is difficult to confirm with only tertiary cortex.
