An early Roman enamelled copper-alloy dragonesque brooch. The brooch is a reversed S-shaped plate; both terminals are missing. The centre of the plate is broad and is crossed by a panel of three orange enamelled lozenges; on either side there is curvilinear decoration outlined by reserve metal ridges within which blue enamel survives. The remaining fields contain a reddish stain but it is unclear whether red enamel once filled these areas. An incomplete bar of copper alloy extends slightly from the base of the neck at one end and would have joined to the head. The back fo the 'body' is slightly dished, with a small knob in the centre. This feature occurs on other brooches and is thought to have tensioned the pin.

Cast copper alloy folding clasp dating to the Medieval period. The frame is rectangular in form and section with an expanded outer edge and a narrowed sub-rectangular bar. The outer edge is zoomorphic in form with incised decoration on the front face. This comprises two circular apertures forming eyes, with diagonal lines running between them to the outer edge delineating the nose/snout and a triangular area of transverse lines representing the forehead and/or hair. The snout projects slightly beyond the outer edge of the frame and there are projecting oval shaped ears with central grooves at the junction of outer edge and sides of the frame. It has a dark green patina and is in good condition.
This is a zoomorphic folding strap clasp of Medieval date. It finds parallels in several examples recorded through the PAS (e.g. NMS-64D9D3, SOM-573C62 and DENO-508E28) with similarities drawn to a published example from London with crowned head as outer edge (Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 568). These suggest a probable 14th century AD date for the current clasp, if not slightly earlier.

The foot from a Roman Bow and Fantail brooch dating to the late first or second century AD. The foot is triangular and decorated with three triangular cells. Together they form a larger triangular motif with slightly concave sides. The cells would originally have contained enamel although none remains. A solid catchplate extends from the reverse.

Possible failed leaf arrowhead of mid to dark grey flint with small pale mottles. The ventral face invasion retouch on both edges and a flake removal scar to the distal end. There is invasive parallel retouch on the dorsal face across the proximal end and the right edge. The bulb of percussion has been removed and the waves of percussion are faint. The distal end tapers in width, ending in a crescentic notch.
The distal end is thicker than expected for an arrowhead and it is possible that faults in the flint meant that when attempting to thin the piece, the tip broke leaving the crescntic notch. It measures 24.4mm long, 19.1mm wide, 5.5mm thick and weighs 2.48g. It dates from the Neolithic period, 3500-2150 BC.
