An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is a double looped oval shape with serrated edges. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid greenish-brown colour and is worn. The buckle is 33.6mm long, 32.7mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 7.7g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.60 and are dated to circa 1450 - 1600.

Large scraper of mid grey flint with a light grey patination, large pale mottles and small patches of iron staining. The scraper is worked from a proximal fragment with the bulb of percussion on the ventral face visible. There is also a large flake removal across the bulb of percussion from the striking platform. There is short, semi abrupt retouch worked from the ventral face spanning c.50% of the circumference. An incomplete Roman Colchester bow brooch. It is missing most of the pin, catchplate and part of the rear hook, but is otherwise complete. The brooch has flat rectangular wings that are decorated on their front faces with double vertical ridges that have central grooves. At the centre of the wings is an integrally cast chord and spring of eight coils that is cylindrical in form and extends to a cylindrical pin that is mostly incomplete due to old breaks.
