A silver long-cross penny, minted at London. The broken dexter spearhead of the crown suggests that this is a Class 11a coin (North 1060-1062) of Edward II, minted between 1311 and 1312. The surfaces are worn in places. It measures 19mm in diameter, 0.4mm thick and weighs 1.3g.

Medieval cast copper alloy bar mount in the form of a large central oval flanked by two small ovals with flattened outer ends. The oval central part is domed with a concave back and decorated with three transverse incised lines across the centre. The oval ends are also domed, each has a central rivet hole containing a separate circular copper alloy rivet. The top of the rivets are flush with the front of the mount while the other ends are slightly flattened to hold circular copper alloy sheet roves.

An incomplete, cast, copper-alloy, single loop buckle with integral, forked spacers and double sheet plates. Dating the Medieval Period, c. AD 1350-1450.
Description: Circular frame. Usually a copper-alloy pin and plate with single rivet but both are missing. About half of the circular loop is also missing. The buckle is in fair to poor condition.
Measurements: The buckle is 40mm L x 20mm W, and weighs 2.6g. Mid 14th-mid 15th century.
Discussion: A similar buckle can be seen on the database, BH-83F561.

Description: an oval, lipped and notched frame. The pin and plate are missing, but probably of copper alloy also.
Measurements: The buckle is 32mm long x 22mm wide and weighs 3.8g.

An incomplete, cast copper-alloy single loop buckle with decorative integral plates dating to the Medieval Period c.AD 1250-1400.
Description: Only the loop and part of the plate are present, the plate appears to have broken at position of the rivet hole closest to the loop. An oval, lipped frame. Narrowed plate with three transverse ridges, two rivets holes and expanded, rounded end. The buckle is in a fair condition.
Measurements: The buckle is 24mm L x 20mm W, and weighs 3.7g.

An almost complete cast copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The harness pendant is shield-shaped and is decorated with a heraldic devise featuring a central lion rampant azure (blue). The reverse is flat and undecorated and the suspension loop projecting from the apex is broken and worn.
The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour and is worn. The harness pendant is 50.4mm long, 37.5mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 17.5g.

A worn silver penny probably of Henry VI, probably 'Annulet issue', mint of York, struck 1413-1422. The coin is very worn but a feint annulet can be seen by the hair on the left; the right side is illegible. There also appears to be an extra pellet in one quarter on the reverse. The coin is pierced just above the top left of the crown.

Cast lead spindle whorl dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is circular in plan and biconical. It has a central circular perforation with an internal diameter of 9.56mm. Each face of the object is decorated with a series of moulded lines and pellets. The object has a dark grey patina.
Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the Medieval period c.1066-1500.
