Pottery rim sherd made of gabbroic clay that weathers over the gabbro outcrop on the Lizard in Cornwall. The rim is flat-topped and slightly expanded externally and has two pairs of small circular impressions on its upper surface and several pairs running diagonally across the interior of the sherd, but these may be accidental or due to natural causes. The fabric has inclusions of pale felspars, dark augite and mica and is orangey-brown to mid-brown throughout the sherd.
