A corroded and incomplete 3rd-century, possibly irregular, base silver Roman denarius of Caracalla, 'VIRTVS AVGG', Rome mint (c. 201 - c. 206 AD; cf. R.I.C. 149; Reece issue period ). This coin has lost around a seventh of its flan in a curved circumferential loss. The reverse has suffered from corrosion while the obverse remains crisp.

A silver radiate of Phillip II as Caesar (AD 244-6) (Reece Period 12), Mint of Rome. RIC IV, pt 3, p. 96, no. 218d corr. (RIC describes the spear as a standard, in error) Obverse: M IVL PHILIPPVS CAES radiate draped bust right Reverse: PRINCIPI IVVENT, Emperor standing left in military dress holding globe in right and inverted spear in left Oval flan, with green copper corrosion showing through the surface damage in several small patches. The original record stated this coin was plated, but the verdigris comes from the base silver rather than a copper core.

An incomplete silver Roman radiate of Herennius Etruscus (AD 250-251), dating to the period c.AD 250-251 (Reece period 12). PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS reverse type depicting Herennius standing left holding baton and spear. Mint of Rome. Cunetio no. 335; RIC IV.3, no. 147c. This coin has suffered some circumferential losses, there is a small patch of copper corrosion product on edge of the coin just below the bust.
