A fragment of a cast copper alloy post-medieval spur, circa 1600-1750 AD. Both the sides are missing, with breaks that are D-shaped in cross-section. The slightly up- or down-turning neck of the spur rises from a pointed-oval base; there is a groove between the base and the rest of the spur, making it look like the neck was made separately, but in fact they were both cast in one piece. The neck extends backwards to a break halfway along the rowel box. The rowel is missing. The fragment measures 30.6mm in length, the neck extends 18.5mm, it has a thickness of 6.8mm, and weighs 15.4g. …

An incomplete Medieval to Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy Spur, circa AD1450 - AD1700. Most of one arm survives, is "D" shaped in cross-section and is at maximum width at the centre back. The neck extends upwards and outwards from this point to the Rowel Box, which survives in good condition. The Rowel is missing. The object measures 87.2mm in length, 13.5mm in width, the neck thickness is 6.4mm, and it weighs 27.5g. It has a light green patina.

An incomplete cast copper alloy horse bridle boss. The boss is circular in shape, with a raised circular central dome, surrounded by a decoratively moulded lobed border. The central dome is decorated with an openwork fleur-de-lys design. There would have been two rivet holes one at the top and one at the bottom, the one at the bottom is still visable The reverse of the object is undecorated. The object is very worn with some of the original surface just visible. Horse bosses of this type date to the 17th to 18th century.

A complete Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount, circa 17th century AD. A flat asymmetrical mount with a knop at either end, and openwork designs of a lozenge, and a love-heart in between. On the reverse are two integral lugs for attaching the mount. It is in mint condition with a light green patina. The mount measures 35.4mm in length, is 14.0mm wide, has a thickness of 1.6mm, and weighs 3.0g.

Part of a copper-alloy spur of post-Medieval date. The neck and rowel box are missing, with only a small projection where they have been broken from the spur. One arm of the spur is almost complete and ends in a figure-of-eight terminal; one rivet survives in the terminal and one is missing where the edge of the terminal is broken. The other side is almost complete but is missing the terminal. The spur measures 68.8mm long, 3.9mm thick and it weighs 16.58 grams. This spur probably dates from the 17th century.

The cap is largely sub-oval in cross-section and is in the form of two symmetrical, opposing animal heads, probably those of dogs. They are separated by a deep central grooves.
