An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy purse bar. The central block of the object survives, as does one of the globular terminals. The block is sub-rectangular with a hole running transversely through the centre. Running through the central hole is a copper-alloy suspension loop. The loop itself is vestigial, having bifurcated above the shank; at the other end, lowermost, is a flattened integral rove. The lower edge is moulded forming a wide 'M' shape.
