Copper-alloy relief-decorated plate, probably from a hooked tag. The surviving part is sub-rectangular, the short slides flaring very slightly from a broken edge to a complete shaped edge. The shaped edge is cut into four outcurving scallops with a circular attachment hole (2.3mm internal diameter) under each of the outer ones and a low ridge runs round the very edge forming a border. The holes cut through the top corners of an inner relief rectangular border, within which is a saltire groove dividing the rectangle into four triangular quarters. Each is filled with a symmetrical motif…

Flint disc scraper on a flake, sub-oval in plan, plano-convex in profile and section. There is primary cortex on the dorsal face. It is assumed that the distal end is corticated, with the proximal end showing long, semi-abrupt retouch. It is unusual for the retouch to be at the proximal end (see Butler 2005). The retouch extends to the lower right and left margins. The flint is grey with white mottling. It is likely to have been made from a local beach pebble. Butler (2005) shows a similar scraper on page 128, Fig. 53, No. 5.

Flint scraper on a flake, sub-rectangular in plan, bi-convex in profile and trapezoidal in section. On the dorsal face the distal end is slightly indented. There is retouch on all margins and it appears to be a horseshoe scraper. The flint is dark olive-green with pale mottling. There is secondary cortex and it is likely to have derived from a local beach pebble. Bond (2004) shows a similar scraper on page 132, Figure 5.118, Number F32.

Flint scraper on a flake, sub-ovoid in plan, sub-rectangular in section and plano-convex in section. The dorsal face has short, abrupt retouch on the left margin and semi-abrupt retouch at the distal end. There is also retouch on the lower right margin which may have provided backing. There is a point on the upper right margin. The flint is grey-brown with pale mottles. There is secondary cortex and it is likely to have derived from a local beach pebble. Butler (2005) shows a side scraper that is similar on page 128, Figure 52, Number 5.

Flint thumbnail scraper on a flake, sub-circular in plan, plano-convex in profile and section. The dorsal face has primary cortex but the lower section retains its cortex. Where the cortex has been removed (this appears to be the part leading to the distal end) there is invasive retouch. The flint is grey with a large area of patination. It is likely to have derived from a local beach pebble. It accords closely to what Bond (2004) classifies as a Type 7 scraper (page 126, Table 125, Figure 5.113). He also shows a similar scraper on page 132, Figure 5.118, Number F5.
