The upper element consists of an oval-sectioned bar with a rectangular frame at its outer end and, at the opposite end, where its underside is flattened, a moulded zoomorphic head above a circular-sectioned 'sleeve'. The second main component, another bar, has been threaded through this sleeve. A worked falke of uncetrain date, possibly Neolithic to Bronze Age. The flake has a very flat break through the bulb of percussion on the ventral face with some conchoidal rippling. The break has removed the stricking platform completely. The edges are straight then taper to a curved point.. The dorsal face is mostly covered with cortex. There is some evidance of retouch along one edge, suggesting this flake could have been used as scrapper.
