An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy Cruciform Long Brooch dating to the sixth century. The headplate is 25.2mm wide and 16.4mm high; it is rectangular and divided into three smaller rectangular panels with the central one raised from the flanking panels. There are three protruding knops cast integrally to the headplate; one on either side of the plate and one in the center on top. These knops are pointed and have docorated parallel grooves. A short hinged flake of opaque cream grey flint.The dorsal surface has some remains of platform preparation with short flake scars removing some of the dorsal ridge with other sub parallel flakes having been removed from that direction and a transverse one truncated by the distal end. There is a length of semi-abrupt retouch on the right margin. Butler(2005) describes expedient tools on page 134.

A long and thin soft hammer struck flake of translucent brown flint with cream flecks. The distal end has been truncated obliquely.The dorsal surface has some remains of platform preparation with a central short flake scar removing some of the dorsal ridge.On the margin there are 2 abruptly worked notchs and a line of abruptly worked retouch from theproximal to the distal end.This appears to be a form of blunting to haft the tool with the aid of the notches or perhaps just for a comfortable grip. A cast copper-alloy single-looped medieval buckle with ornate outside edge. The frame's expanded outer edge has knopped ends which travel outwards. On the upper surface the knops are decorated with incised diagonal lines, two on both knops. Delineating the knops are fine, raised transverse ridges. There is a pair of similar ridges central on the outer edge, whose deep groove between would have acted as a pin rest. Above and below these latter is a transverse groove. A worn and corroded Medieval copper alloy (latten) 'Three-circles' jetton, struck at Tournai during the later part of the reign of Charles VII (1403-1461 AD). The flan has a pair of circular piercings set close to the periphery. Similar Jettons are shown in Mitchiner; Jetons Medalets and Tokens - The Medieval Period and Nuremberg Vol 1(1993) p210-211.

A worn and corroded Medieval copper alloy French jetton. On one face a Chatel of Tournois surmounted by a fleur de lis can just be made out, and on the other there is a central quatrefoil and a stranded cross. The jetton was minted in Tours between circa 1350 and 1415 AD. Similar jettons can be seen in Mitchiner; Jetons Medalets and Tokens - The Medieval Period and Nuremberg Vol 1 (1988) p187-189.

A very worn and clipped Post Medieval threepence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603 AD). North Second Issue, dating to 1575 AD. Initial mark likely an Eglantine, but impossible to see due to clipping and wear. Obverse depicts her crowned bust facing left, with rose behind her head on right; reverse depicts square-topped shield with long cross fourchee dividing legend and date '1575' on top of shield. Cf. North 1991 (Vol II), No. 1998.
