Cast copper alloy horse harness pendant length 53mm, width 26mm, thickness 7mm, weight 8.34g. The pendant is shield shaped with a horse rampant on the face, the horse is detailed with white enamel on a gold field. At the top of the shield is a loop for suspension with the remains of the suspension mount at the top. This artefacts dates to the late 13th - 14th century.

A copper alloy probable harness pendant. A cast sub-circular openwork mount with a short attachment bar at the top, flanked by two vertical projections.. The pendant is decorated with interlaced bars forming a seres of nine oval and rounded triangular apertures arranged symmetrically. the ends of the lines or bars overlap onto the outer frame of the mount and project beyond it into small rounded knops.
