A complete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a large central perforation. The degree of rise on one side of the spindle whorl is much shallower than that on the other side and the edge of the perforation is irregular. The spindle whorl appears to be undecorated but is extremely worn with numerous indentations present on the surface. The metal is a light brownish-white colour and is worn. An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. The head, bow and acanthus moulding survive, but the foot, catchplate, pin mechanism and pin no longer remain. From the reverse of the head the lug which would have held the pin mechanism can be seen. The head itself is a worn trumpet shape and is undecorated. From the head the upper bow extends terminating at a worn single collar. Below the collar is a crude and worn acanthus decoration followed by a second single collar. An incomplete cast copper alloy annular brooch of medieval date. The brooch is sub-circular in plan having been misshapen, probably as a result of its deposition, and roughly half of the brooch is lost due to old and worn breaks. The frame is circular in cross-section with two oval expansions present. Both expansions are decorated with a cross-hatched design. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The remains of the brooch are 24.1mm long, 5.6mm wide, 5.5mm thick and weigh 3g. Similar examples can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, p.253, fig.163, no.1330 & 1333.

An incomplete cast copper alloy button and loop fastener of Roman date. The fastener consists of a worn boss, whose original shape is now indiscernible, with a central ring and dot motif. From the base of the boss an integrally cast triangular sectioned shank extends and bends at 90 degrees resulting in an L-shape. From this point a loop would once have extended being on a separate plain to the boss. This is now lost due to an old and worn break. The metal is a mid blackish-brown colour and is extremely worn. A sheet copper-alloy hook-piece from a post-medieval book-clasp dating from the 17th century AD. It is sub-rectangular in shape with a flared end and the opposing end terminating in a narrowed, curved hook (5.66mm wide). At the flared end, the plate divides into two parts separated by a V shaped groove. Each terminal is bi-lobate and has a single circular rivet hole in the lobe nearest the groove. A possibly Roman lead alloy stylus, which is 71.31mm long and 9.66mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with a creamy patina and weighs 33.59 grams. The object consists of a circular shaft which is tapered and faceted at one end and at the other end tapers to a point. There are many similar objects on the PAS database, but a Roman date cannot be certain as similar tools were used in later periods too, especially the medieval and Post Medieval periods.. The weight is cup-shaped (a disc with a raised rim) and has three symbols stamped into the face; a crowned G at 11 o'clock (G for George), a sword at 1 o'clock (for St Paul's and the City of London), and a ewer at 5 o'clock (for the London Founder's Company).
