A flint side and end scraper, oval in plan, plano-convex in profile and ellipse in section. Retouch on the dorsal face at the distal end and right edge. A layer of light brown cream cortex is present on the left of the dorsal face. The bulb is present on the ventral face. The flint is coffee brown colour.
Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 128, Fig. 53, No. 3, which is dated to the Neolithic period.

A complete Neolithic to Bronze Age flint tool, possibly a scraper (3500 BC-800 BC).
This implement has been manufactured on a sub-triangular secondary flake. It has a large bulb of percussion and associated ripples on the ventral face. The dorsal face has a negative bulb of percussion and a small area of light brown cortex at the proximal end. A complete but damaged Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism. It measures 51.28mm long and weighs 5.1g.
The 21.05mm wide wings are tubular (c.4mm diameter) and decorated to the front only with a pair of transverse grooves at each open end. To the reverse the triangular sheet copper alloy pin-head is fully moveable around the copper alloy axis bar. The shank is rather bent. One wing has a white substance inside (visible at the open end).

A slightly unusual incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy Colchester Derivative, of Harlow type brooch, with damaged wings and missing its spring mechanism and pin. It measures 57.83mm in length and weighs 14.9g.
The wings are D-shaped in cross-section being flat to the reverse. They are broken at either end and span an incomplete 17.12mm. A decorative groove remains to one side.

An incomplete and squashed Roman Colchester Derivative, Harlow brooch with spring mechanism bent over its wings and missing its pin. It measures 71.99mm in length and weighs 17.7g.
The wings are C-shaped in cross-section and span 28.78mm. They are decorated to the front with a single transverse groove flanking each end, plus another pair slightly further along. To the reverse is a silvery substance (?solder) and double-pierced lug. This implement has been manufactured on a sub-triangular tertiary flake. It has a large bulb of percussion on the ventral face and has been retouched on both faces with abrupt and semi-abrupt removals. On the ventral surface it has been retouched along one edge and at the distal end and this retouch accounts for about 60% of the circumference. An incomplete Roman (AD 43-70) copper alloy Hod Hill brooch with upper side lugs, missing the head and pin. It is bent and measures 51.08mm in length and 26.82mm in max.width (across the side lugs), and weighs 5.9g.

A small, gilded cast copper-alloy annular brooch of medieval date (c. 13th century AD). It is formed of a flat ring so has a rectangular (with rounded corners) cross-section. Around a pin constriction a ?cast, pointed pin survives in situ. The loop is connected at the terminal; the two ends are no longer pressed together. A cast copper alloy medieval horse harnerss pendant dating to the c.14th century AD.The harness pendant is lozenge-shaped with additional trilobed mouldings projecting from each edge; internally is a quartefoil that may have held enamel, all of which is now missing. The external surface of the pendant has been gilded, most of which survives. The reverse is plain. As is usual for this type of pendant, the suspension loop (now broken) is set perpendicular to the body. For a pendant with the same design but in better condition, retaining some of the enamel, see DOR-6859B0.

A small, gilded cast copper-alloy annular brooch of medieval date (c. 13th century AD). It has a circular, cable decorated (twisted) frame formed of many, tight rotations. It has a broadly circular cross-section. Around a pin constriction a basic flat sheet pin survives in situ. It has a bevelled upper surface and tapers to a point. Small traces of gilt survive over dark-brown patina. Both brooch and pin have corroded in places and green and brown corrosion product occasionally shows through. A similar brooch can be found illustrated in Biddle (1990, 643; ref. 2037).

Cast copper alloy harness pendant of probable 14th-century (c.1250 - c.1450) date. The pendant is oval (vesica) in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The edges of the shield are slightly bevelled (although they have been abraded by movement in the ploughsoil) and the profile of the pendant is slightly bowed (convex). On the upper edge of the shield is an integral cast suspension loop which is set at 90 degrees to the plain of the pendant.
