Flint scraper, roughly oval in plan and lozenge shaped in profile. The dorsal side has invasive and unifacial retouching. The proximal end has been possibly retouched for use as an awl. The ventral side has medial ridging from flake removal. This appears to be a scraper made on a core fragment. It is a translucent brown grey smoke with cream flecks in colour. Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 128, Fig. 52 which is dated to the Neolithic period.

Flint pebble scraper, roughly oblong in plan and triangular in profile. The proximal end has been retouched. The left and right margins have been snapped. This appears to be a scraper made on a broken flake which has been heat treated. A cortex covers 1-49% of the surface area and the flint is beige, grey with red and ochre rings in colour. Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 112, Fig. 5.96, No. 23 which is dated to the Neolithic period.

A blade of black nodular flint with the proximal end snapped off, possibly by damage. On the left margin, beginning through the snap is blunting retouch through the cortex. This continues towards the distal end from both sides, but is shallower leaving cortex in place. On the right margin the free blade edge is made into a notch near the proximal end with a short line of fine semi-abrupt retouch. Although backed blades are a Meolithic and earlier technology this is not a true blade and the nodular flint in this location is more likely to be imported in the Neolithic.

A core rejuvenatiion flake of brown and grey flint with cream inclusions. The flake has been struck from the platform to remove a hinge fracture and carries several other flake and blade scars with platform preparation abrasion visible on the proximal end.The flake has been utilised with the ventral side showing gloss where the right margin has formed a natural denticle as the flake removal has accomodated the thicker flint behind the hinge fracture. End scraper. Made from pebble flint, there is no prepared platform. The dorsal faces is almost completely covered in cortex except for some abrupt retouch at the distal end. The flint has a reddish tinge to it which suggests burning or heat treatment. It is sub circular in plan and has a plano convex profile. The ventral face has not been retouched. Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 132, Fig 5.118, F5 which dates to the Early Neolithic.

A small piece of mottled light grey translucent to off white flint, oval in plan. The dorsal face is smooth from the proximal to medial, the proximal edge appears to broken in what could have been originally a tang. The distal exhibits retouch along its full curve. The retouch marks are long and could be classed as invasive, the angle being relatively shallow, but not consistant with that of a knife edge. The proximal edges juts out from the piece and may have been orinally made to attach to a haft.
