This microburin contains the bulb of percussion from a piece on which a microlith would have been removed. This microburin would have been snapped off the end, resulting in the break seen here. A similar object is illustrated by Pierpoint (1981) Fig 6.24

Very small piece of light grey to off white flint. The dorsal face appears to have been backed on the left margin, the distal edge is pointed. Ventral facem right margin appears to have been backed from the proximal to distal edges. SImilar in appearance to Butler, Prehistoric Flint, Page 95, Fig 36, no 5.

Flint scraper, oval in plan and convex-concave in profile. This appears to be an end scraper on a flake blade. The dorsal side has unifacial and invasive retouching. The proximal end is very sharp. The ventral side also has some retouching on the proximal end. It is a mottled dark grey with beige cream flecks in colour. Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 107, Fig. 43, No. 2 which is dated to the Mesolithic period.
