Bulb removed from the ventral face, with retouch on the right edge and blunted on the left edge. The dorsal face has retouch on the distal end, with a layer of grey cortex on the right side of the medial ridge running longitudinally. The flint is dark grey colour. Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 132, Fig. 5.118, No. F7, which is dated to the Early Neolithic.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy polyhedral pin of probable later Roman date. The pinhead remains complete but the shaft of the pin has been truncated at the base of the head leaving only a circular platform. The polyhedral head has ten faces in the form of a cube with the corners cur off and all faces are undecorated. The pin has a dark green patina. The head is 10.0mm long, and 9.8mm by 10.1mm in cross-section, it weighs 5.2g.

A domed copper-alloy sheet stud/mount of circular form and uncertain date. In plan are three concentric zones: a central boss (Dia.: c. 11.0mm), ridge below, and angled skirt (H.: c. 8.1mm). A corroded iron shank passes through the centre of the mount, through a corroded lead infill within the dome. Orange-brown corrosion product has spread around the centre of the upper surface. The circumferential zone has been slightly bent and has received a small crack. The mount has a mid-green patina with some patches of off-white corrosion product. A fragment of a Roman possible copper alloy Alcester-type Trumpet derivative brooch and fired clay mould (>18 x >23mm). The brooch comprises the lower part of a hollow-cast D-sectioned head, with the upper part missing. It contains the remains of a fine reduced pale grey-grey clay mould. There is a flat-sectioned oval flange (with a broken outer edge) springing from the junction of the bow and leg. The leg survives as a flat-sectioned stump only. See Hattatt, nos. 448 and 976. This example dates from the 1st-2nd century AD.

An Early-Middle Saxon incomplete buckle pin (or tongue) with the broken remains of an integral anchorage on the reverse. It is flat-sectioned, with the base or proximal end broken across opposed concave sides. The remainder is D-sectioned and there is a constriction at the mid-point. It has a blunt, broken distal end. It measures >36 x >14mm. See Marzinzik 2003, plates 4-6. It is of a standard type dated to the 6th or 7th centuries.

A medieval square domed harness mount or belt mount (2 joining fragments), broken along the fold below two broken perforations at the possible apex. Two of the three surviving sides have a damaged flange. The flange on the undamaged side is decorated with a line of stamped annulets. It measures >22 x 33mm unbent and is 5mm deep. See examples from Deopham (Norfolk Historic Environment Record number 41108) and Litcham (NHER 42592), and harness pendants and suspension mounts from Mautby (NHER 36646) and Ryston (NHER 31096). This example dates from the 12th century.

A base fragment of a ceramic vessel, possibly of Iron Age date. The vessel was handmade, not on a wheel. The fragment has 11mm wide portion of a flat base before raising 45 degrees to form the body of the vessel. The fabric is dark grey in colour in the newly exposed secion of the surface. It has very frequent inclusions of well sorted angular flint. The fragment is 51.2mm long 40.1mm wide, 7.5mm thick and weighs 19.05 grams.
