An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy spoon (c. AD 1650-c. 1800).
The bowl and part of the handle are missing.
The main part is sub-triangular in plan and flat in cross-section.
At the top end the object curves backwards slightly and at the top of the curve is a decorative terminal. From the top its form is nipple/bead/spool. This terminal has a length of 10.5mm and the diameter of the bead is 5.8mm. The minimum diameter of the spool is 2.6mm. Symetrical bar shaped copper alloy object with plain underside. Upper surface has 2 raised central lines. Each end terminates in a blunt point with a curved, rounded projection on one side. Similar to part of a large buckle, but the object appears to be complete. It is in fair condition, is 63mm long, 15mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 8.02g.

A body sherd from a handmade grey ware vessel of Early Anglo-Saxon date. It has micaceous gold inclusions and is decorated on the exterior surface with incised transverse bands and a band of impressed dots. The sherd measures 39.80mm in length, 23.09mm in width, 6.41mm in thickness, and weighs 6.23g. It is of Early Anglo-Saxon date, c.400-720 AD.
