A Medieval, cast, copper-alloy, probable zoomorphic mount. The mount is roughly hexagonal in plan with a rectangular knop projecting from the lower edge. The front is convex and the back of the hexagonal section is concave. The hexagonal section has a drilled hole in its centre containing the head of a copper-alloy rivet. Above this hole there is a cross hatch pattern of incised lines. Below the hole, it is undecorated except for an incised line running horizontally across the top of the rectangular knop.
