Copper alloy market trader's weight used during the reign of Henry VIII (1509-1547), with a crowned incuse 'h' stamped into the obverse. The reverse is plain. The weight is 4.13 g which is equivalent to about 63 grains, and could have been used to check the weight of the half noble, which weighed about 60 grains at the time. Withers (1995) illustrates the stamp on page 37 and refers to these weights as traders' weights and not coin weights, but that they could also have been used to check half nobles.

Silver Venetian soldino of Doge Michele Steno (1400-1413), Type 5. The Venetian soldino, meaning "little shilling", circulated unofficially as halfpennies in England during the 15th and early 16th centuries, due to a lack of small change in the country at the time. They were nicknamed "galyhalpens" or galley-halfpence after the "galley-men" who imported them: the merchants on the Venetian galley fleet who came to England each summer. There were two main influxes of soldini, the first under Doge Michele Steno (like this coin) and the second under Doge Loredan (1501-1521).

Treasure Case 2012 T338: Gold Droplet from Brailes, Warwickshire. Casting waste, comprising a complete amorphous droplet of gold or gold alloy. The droplet measures 14.77mm long, 8.37mm wide and 6.71mm thick, weighing 5.1g. Iron Age coins have been recovered from the same farm (Treasure Case 2012 T726), and it has been suggested that gold such as this may have been connected with Iron Age gold working, such as coin production or recycling. However, a similar piece (2004 T408) was determined to be undiagnostic and undatable following metal analysis.
