One possible half of a pair of copper alloy sheet metal tweezers. The tweezers are incomplete, consisting of one side of a pair of tweezers. It is an elongated triangle in plan with an abraded lower edge and the upper narrowed portion of the tweezers forming a hooked curve which is slightly thicker than the flat portion of the tweezers. The apparent interior face of the tweezers is decorated with a pair of parallel grooves and the central ridge between has incised notes as decoration. A cast copper alloy possible Roman finger ring. The finger ring ring is a band with cast decoration on the exterior. The decoration is in the form of a central row of circular indentations bordered by a ridge either side. The upper and lower edges of the band have more widely spaced circular indentations. Approximately half of the finger ring remains, before both terminals are broken. These breaks are not recent breaks. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch. The wings are semi-cylindrical and terminate with incomplete perforated wing caps. The axis bar, spring and pin are all missing. The wings are decorated with an obliquely angled groove. The bowhead is only slightly hump-like in profile and is a wide sub-'W' in section. The central ridge atthe upper edge is perforated which holds a fragment of the copper alloy chord in place. A Medieval buckle made from animal skeletal material (bone) with integral plate dating to the 12th century. The buckle frame is D-shaped and has been carved in one piece with the buckle plates. The pin pivots on a dowel; the end of which is visible on one side only. The frame has a notched pin rest and is decorated with carved diagonal lines. Cast copper alloy brooch, quadrangular or lozenge-shaped, made up of four crossing arms each terminating in a Borre style animal's head. The heads are linked by short bars giving the quadrangular or lozengiform shape. In the middle of the brooch is a central cross. Its underside bears the remains of the pin mechanism, two flat lugs that held the pin and the catch plate. The brooch is in poor condition with much loss of surface, a condition which is typical of this class of object.

Late Anglo-Saxon brooch made from cast lead. The face bears a motif consisting of a triqueta, its three arms made up of two raised lines their ends terminating in pairs of opposed scrolls surrounding pellets. In the centre of the disc is a single pellet and, around its edge, is a ring of pellets. The brooch is crushed and no trace of remains of the pin and clip. On the back of the brooch is a series of scratches which could, with the eye of faith, be interpreted as the stern of a ship, with two steering oars a mast and a yard.

An undiagnostic fragment of gold of uncertain date. This object was originally hollow and probably cylindrical but has since become crushed flat, it was probably originally a bead. The edges were probably slightly angled inwards. There is no decoration and the style of the object is undiagnostic. Although the object is more than 10% gold it cannot be positively identified as greater than 300 years old, therefore it does not fall under the Treasure Act 1996. Dimensions: length: 9.55mm; width: 9.87mm; thickness: 1.50mm; weight: 0.35g.

This sherd includes part of the handle which is reeded with a decorative collar at the junction between the handle and the wall of the vessel.
