A copper alloy mount from a sword belt set dating from the Post Medieval period. The object is designed to match sword belt hooks and plates such as DOR-D6C278 but does not have a hook or a loop and seems to be complete. It is a sub triangular plate with a fleur de lys terminal at one end, and a smaller flared terminal at the other. There is a single rivet hole in the centre of the larger end. The front is decorated with foliage and there are traces of a black coating. The object probably dates from the 16th or 17th century.
