A near complete cast copper alloy Polden Hill style bow brooch dated to the early Roman period (80-120 AD). The wings are complete being semi-cylindrical in plan, these are much abraded. The axis bar, spring and pin are lost. A sub-rectangular hollow is present on the reverse of the brooch, its runs the full width of the wings and head, and is deepest in the centre under the head. A copper-alloy strap loop of Medieval date. The frame is trapezoidal in plan. Three of the sides are of rectangular section; the longer vertical side is thicker and of trapezoidal section. Halfway down the shorter vertical side is a rivet hole. The object measures 14.2mm long, 14.7mm wide and 2.9mm thick. The weight is 1.28g. Strap loops of this form are known from London (see Egan and Pritchard 1991: 231-232, nos. 1247-1252). The function of such items, which have been found in layers dating from the late 13th and 14th centuries, is thought to have been to secure loose straps.

An incomplete and slightly misshapen post-Medieval cast copper-alloy Jews harp (c. 1500-c. 1800). In plan, it has a sub-circular head and tapering arms both of which are characteristically lozenge-shaped in cross-section. The outer diameter of the head is 28.4mm. At the apex, on the front face, is a rabbet to accommodate the iron prong which has not survived. The arms are complete.
