An incomplete Roman enamelled plate brooch. The brooch is oval, flat and has an interior band of reserve metal. The field within the interior band is filled with a yellowish corrosion or perhaps degraded enamel. The field surrounding the band contains juxtaposed blue and white enamel without any metal divisions. On the reverse is the remains of a coiled spring. The catchplate is located at the opposite end.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy dolphin brooch. The brooch a comma shaped in profile, rectangular in cross-section with a moulded ridge down the centre towards the base. The wings are very worn and have some feint vertical ribbing. The surface of the brooch has been silvered.
