A cast copper alloy object, probably a mount. The mount is in the form of a pelta in plan, and is slightly domed in profile. The reverse is slsightly hollow. There edges are slightly abraded and the surface is also abraded. There are traces of a heavy light to mid green patina though. The mount measures 32.32mm wide, 19.89mm long and 4.66mm thick. It weighs 5.77g. The shape and surface condition of the mount suggests a late Iron Age to early Roman date.
