A cast copper alloy buckle. The buckle is a 'D' shape in plan with a straight strap bar, which is sub-square in section. The pin is missing. The frame is moulded in the form of two flattened dolphins facing each other. The dolphins have a low-relief circular indentation as an eye, and a collar below each head. Where the noses of the dophins meet there is a pair of vertical ribs. Along each head of the dolphin there is a off-set crescent, whose edge is abraded. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill type (flat wing ends type, West Midlands), cf. Mackreth 2011, 4.a-4.b, 4c, Plate 46. The wings are semi-cylindrical but are incomplete and abraded. One wing has an incomplete perforated wing cap, the other is missing. The axis bar, spring and pin are all missing. Part of a Roman 1st century copper alloy Colchester two piece brooch. Only one wing of the spring cover survives at the top of the brooch. The pin, spring and catch plate are missing. The bow of the brooch has a raised rib that tapers to a point about half way down the length.

A complete medieval enamelled copper-alloy heraldic horse harness pendant, dating to the 13th to 14th century. The pendant is in the shape of shield with a flat top and curved sides. The upper edge has an integrally cast suspension loop set at right angles to the pendant, and set slightly forwards of the front. The loop has been broken through at its top and twisted somewhat; all presumably evidence of the act that led to its loss. The front of the pendant bears an enamelled design which can be described heraldically as Gyronny of eight Azure and [...] a bordure Gules semy of roundels…

A medieval pendant or suspension mount in the form of a double armed cross. The bottom end is broken and a suspension loop survives at the top. At the centre of each cross is a square-shaped field roughly incised with characters on both sides that may be intended to represent the Alpha and the Omega. These Greek letters were taken to mean the Beginning and the End from scriptural reference (Book of Revelation chapters 8, 21 and 22). Similar single-armed crosses with Alpha and Omega or other amuletic inscriptions are known, for example TAR 2004, No 219, pp. 114 and 282.
