Post Medieval copper alloy/pewter buckle. Figure of eight buckle with anchor chapes, used for knee or shoe with open framework. It has a D-shaped cross section being flat on the reverse and slightly raised on the front. Late Mesolithic-Early Neolithic chert debitage dating between 8300-2100BC. At the proximal end the striking platform and slight bulb of percusssion are evident. On the dorsal face there is evidence of a hinge fracture to the distal point. On the ventral face there are 4 blade scars evident there is also evidence at the distal point of later damage possibly from plough action. There is also evidence of retouching on both edges of the object. The length is 28mm, the width is 12mm, the thickness is 4mm and the weight is 1.90g

An incomplete copper alloy spoon dating to the first or second centuries AD. The fragment comprises a circular spoon bowl. The underside of the bowl has a small ridge, from which the stem extends. The stem is broken. It is 19mm long, 18mm wide, 3mm thick, and weighs 1.5g. The spoon can be classified as a Crummy Type 1 (Crummy 1983, p. 70).

An incomplete copper-alloy medieval single-loop buckle frame. The piece represents approximately half of what would have been a D-shaped frame. This frame has a sub-hexagonal cross section and gradually widens towards the centre of the curved outer side, where there is a pin rest marked by two transverse grooves. The axis bar is entirely missing.A white metal coating covers the upper surface of the piece. Dimensions are, Length 30.5 mm Width c.17.5 mm Thickness 3.2 mm Weight 4.351 grams. Copper alloy mount in the form of a styalised boar's(?) head, possibly Iron Age. Viewed from the front the mount has two large forward-facing ears, two simple 'dot' eyes, an elongated upturned snout and a simple horizontal slit for a mouth. The rear ventral surface has a transverse groove and half of a round hole remaining where the back of the 'neck' has broken off. This suggests that the object may have been mounted onto a rim or similar, possibly on a vessel? The object is 22mm long, 13mm wide, 15mm thick and weighs 6.0g.

A copper-alloy double-looped asymmetrical post-Medieval buckle (c. 1575-1700). The brooch is convex at the front and flat at the rear. One loop is 'D'-shaped with a curved outside edge and the other loop is trapezoidal in plan. The upper face of the trapezoidal loop has a transverse decorative groove on the outside edge which has a slight curve at the centre. The narrowed central bar is rectangular in cross-section. It is formed of two similar oval loops and is convex at the front and both loops are bevelled at the rear. The bar is sub-circular in cross-section. A copper-alloy tapering flat pin has a length of 12.2mm and the width of the pin loop is 1.9mm. This buckle (including the pin) is largely corroded and has no patina. 21.0 x 15.8 x 1.4mm.
