Glass bead probably Roman in date. The bead is annular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section with a straight sided, off centre circular perforation and curved outer edge. It is of uneven thickness. The glass is a frosted light blue-green in colour and contains air bubbles. The bead is 7.6 mm at its thickest part and 5.9 mm at its thinnest part. The diameter is 17.3mm and weight 2.50 grams. There is a small chipped area and the surface is slightly rough from corrosion. It is probaly Roman, and is similar to BH-D830E1 which was identified as Guido's type 6iia (see Guido 1978…

A broken copper-alloy vessel handle, probably from a post-medieval skillet, perhaps 17th century in date. It is slightly concaved and has stamped crosses on the top, which produces a raised lozenge effect. The bottom and sides of the handle are undecorated. It is 62.4 mm long.  It tapers from 11.79 mm wide to 7.95 mm at its terminal, and tapers from 8.12 to 2.2 mm in thickness. It weighs 24.6 grams.

A copper-alloy bell of Medieval date. The form of this piece suggests it may have been a horse harness pendant (cf. Griffiths 1986: 4, no. 20). It probably dates from the 13th or 14th century. The bell chamber is made of a piece of sheet metal which has had its corners folded inwards, creating a void in which is enclosed a 'pea'. The hanger is integrally cast, of rectangular section and extends vertically upwards from the chamber. A copper-alloy mount of post-Medieval (probably 17th century) date. The mount is sub-triangular in plan, with a 'V-shaped' groove at the centre of the bottom side, two transverse ridges and a moulded lobe at the point. The upper surface is convex, the underside is flat and has two integral rivets, the intact upper one having been bent downards. The mount is heavily corroded. It measures 21.6mm high, 8.5mm wide and 7.1mm thick (including the rivets). It weighs 1.28g.

A cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of Medieval to early post-Medieval date (1400-1600). The frame is formed of two similar oval loops and is convex at the front. At the rear, each loop is bevelled. The bar is sub-triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. The copper-alloy tapering pin is flat and rectangular in cross-section. Bent strip of cast lead-tin alloy with a definite break at one end and slightly irregular sides and other end. The back is flat, the front slightly convex. The end opposite the break is curved but has breaks and corrosion in the corners, obscuring its original shape. The width tapers gradually from the curved end to the broken end. In profile it curves up then down 90 degrees before the break. It could be part of a large, flat 18th century pewter spoon handle but this is hard to identify form the remaining fragment. A copper-alloy post-medieval, 17th century private halfpenny token. The token is very worn and so the individual cannot be identified. What may be RICHARD... is visible on the obverse, although the rest of the legend is illegible on this face. The outer legend on the reverse is also illegible, but in the centre the token reads 'HIS HALFE PENNY'. The central field on the obverse bears a crown. The token measures 18.3 mm in diameter, 0.62 mm thick and weighs 0.7 grams.

A copper-alloy sword quillion (half of a sword cross hand guard). The quillion is 78.12mm long and 5.15mm thick, weighing 33.86g. The quillion curves gently on both the upper and lower edges however the lower edge is more curved than that above. The narrowest part of the quillion is at about the mid-point and measures 10.10mm.
