A cast lead token of Medieval to post-Medieval date. The circular token is corroded and slightly bent. One side bears a relief-moulded cross of elaborate form, each arm terminal having numerous projecting 'branches'. The reverse of the token is plain. It measures 18.6mm in diameter, 1.5mm thick and weighs 3.71g.

A cast lead token of Medieval to post-Medieval date. The token is bent and corroded. One side bears the relief-moulded image of a stylised swan or duck, standing right, with a pecking chicken above, smaller, as if in the distance. The opposite side appears to be plain. The token measures 25.5mm in diameter, 2.2mm thick and weighs 5.99g. Lead tokens with depictions of birds are relatively common finds (cf. BH-D3A325 and BH-79AD33). Unfortunately, a lack of examples from excavated contexts means that they cannot be accurately dated at present.

A fragment of a Medieval open-frame brooch. The surviving piece suggests that the original form of the frame would have been hexagonal. The flat upper surface is decorated with an incised 'palm frond' motif and there is a pin constriction at the point of the break. The piece measures 31.1mm long, 10.3mm wide and 2.2mm thick. The weight is 2.37g.

Acopper-alloy frame from a Medieval (13th to 14th century) single-loop buckle. The frame is roughly 'D-shaped', with curved top and bottom sides and a vertical, expanded pin rest. This pin rest has two segments with convex surfaces, plus an angled knop at the top and bottom. Grooves and ridges separate the various elements. The wire pin is looped around the offset axis bar. The buckle is heavily corroded. It measures 17.9mm long, 22.9mm wide and 4.3mm thick. The weight is 2.94g.

A copper-alloy knife end-cap of post-Medieval (probably 16th century) date. The cast object consists of a cuboid with two projecting loops at the top. Immediately below each loop is a moulded ridge and their inner sides also project into a vertical groove. Protruding from the base, aligned longitundinally, is a remnant of the iron tang. The artefact is corroded. It measures 16.3mm high, 18mm wide and 6.6mm thick. The weight is 8.06g.

A copper-alloy knife end-cap of post-Medieval (probably 16th century) date. The object consists of a solid cast cylinder. The outer surface is decorated with grooves, the main element comprising two rectangular panels, each containing a saltire cross. Two raised mouldings separate these panels. The circular upper surface has a cross comprised of four lines. The underside has a central groove, into which the tang would originally have fitted. Evidence for this comes in the form of adhering iron corrosion. The artefact measures 15.6mm long, 11.8mm in diameter and weighs 11.2g.

A copper-alloy mount of post-Medieval (probably 17th century) date. The central element of the mount is drop-shaped and has a convex upper surface. Projecting from both the top and bottom is a rounded lobe with herringbone grooves. The underside of the mount is concave and there are two integral rivets (incomplete), located one at each end of the central portion. The surfaces of the mount are heavily corroded. It measures 38mm long, 16.7mm wide and 5.4mm thick. The weight is 6.79g.

Located close to the top are two horizontal grooves. The artefact has been squashed, possibly deliberately as there are no rivet holes. Traces of textile protrude from the top of the tag. The surfaces bear traces of a black coating. The object measures 22.3mm long, 8.4mm wide and 3.9mm thick. The weight is 1.59g.

The obverse image is of a tree (heavily corroded) and the legend reads: 'W M SPILTIMB[ER]'. The central area of the reverse reads 'W.S(over) 1658' and has the legend '(star)HATFILD BROAD OCKE (sic.). The token measures 15.7mm in diameter, 0.9mm thick and weighs 1.13g.
