A complete glass bead, circular in plan and sub-oval in cross-section. Coloured light green when held to the light, translucent with sub-circular opaque buff (tinged with green) 'spots'. It is possible that the bead may date to the Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period. However, this is uncertain. Maximum diameter:19.1mm; thickness: 10.7mm. Weight: 5.43g.

A piece of lead alloy in the shape of a triangular pyramid which could possibly be a gaming piece or a lead weight. It may date from the Early Medieval period. It has a rounded apex and rounded corners. The lead has a thick patina which is white in colour. It has a length of 23.75mm, width 23.36mm, thickness 16.93mm, weight 52.09g. The head of the pin is polyhedral, taking the form of a cuboid with truncated corners; it is 7.9mm tall and 6.9mm in width and thickness. The sides appear to be undecorated. There is a slight, broad collar (1.7mm wide) at the joint between the head and the shaft. A copper alloy D shaped buckle with a copper alloy riveted sheet plate. The terminals of the buckle are stylised zoomorphic, animal biting bar type. The copper alloy plate is rectangular and is not recessed to accommodate the buckle frame. It has 2 rivets still in place. A third hole near the frame contains the remains of the pin. The buckle dates from the early medieval period, probably the 10th - 11th century. For reference see YORYM-023A40 on the PAS database. This example does not have the attached plate. A complete cast copper-alloy hooked tag of Early-Medieval date, Read's Class A Type 2. It has a flat sub-circular plate that tapers slightly towards the integral hook and has two circular sewing holes.
